His precise and detailed work was an discipline that he employed in the Bavarian mountain landscapes he created. Fritz studied at the Art Academies in Munich, Berlin and Paris. Meyer only painted the Bavarian homeland and its beautiful mountains and lakes. Even when he was well into his 70's, he spent every weekend wandering in the mountains and returned home ready to begin on new paintings using the fresh impressions of color he received from his walks. a little discoloration, otherwise very good condition.
